About My Medium

This medium is handmade from a combination of purified ivory and white beeswax and damar resin, ratio of 9:2.  The medium is molded into muffin-size pieces for ease of use.

I started making this medium because other vendors were either charging way too much or selling it in inconvient shapes that were difficult to store and use. After sharing the medium with some friends, I began to sell it.  After three months I have shipped my medium all over the world and created some custom formulas for people with special requests. 

Use of medium in encaustic painting will extend the paint and create translucency and shine.
